CONCORDE VORTEX
Fabrication and installation photos below... |
Two images of Concorde. One in plan and one in profile. They are each drawn out into their own swirling vortex, the motion which gave the supersonic aeroplane 'lift'. They are installed on the site of the former Filton Aerodrome, where every Concorde that ever flew, took off for the first time. Laser-cut steel, galvanized and powder-coated. Each black image panel has a white backing panel. Each 6m wide x 1.3m high x 1m deep. Commissioned and managed by Lidl Great Britain Limited |
Laser cutting by Cirrus Laser Limited. Fabrication by Weldtec Welding Services Limited. Installation by TJ Fencing.
